At La Goutte d'Or, we love this avocado oil for several reasons. It is certified organic without GMOs, and is a certified ethical product by SMETA. It is refined, which allows it to reach a really high smoke point and makes it an excellent cooking oil. Its creamy texture and mild taste increase its possibilities of use, both in cooking and in cosmetics. Fatty acids, lecithin, vitamins A, D, and E, and beta-carotene found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect the skin. In particular, it helps rehydrate dry skin, face, wrinkles and brittle hair.
For skin care, simply apply it to damp skin by massaging for a few minutes. You can also add a few drops to your cream, lotion or shower gel!
For hair, simply apply on a clean and dry or slightly damp scalp, massaging for a few minutes, and then on the ends. Leave on for a few hours or overnight, then wash as usual.
